New Theory for Lacey
Based on info from Paleyfest. Sorta spoilery.
So here’s what I’m thinking after Rumple’s no longer having dagger issues he takes Belle out of the hospital and brings her to his home to recover. As she slowly gets off the sedatives the Lacey persona begins to come out. It’s little things at first she gets more touchey feeley getting closure than she normally would. Then she starts making advances and Rumple has no clue what to do and pushes her away. At the rejections Lacey gets frustrated and goes out saying something like, “If you don’t want maybe I’ll find someone who does.” And that’s when she finds Keith. So my thoughts are that Rumple followed her to make sure she’s safe. Then like Keith pushes too far and Rumple comes to help her.

Was anyone else kinda surprised that Emma said nothing about Belle?
I mean I sure as hell was. I was so expecting some snarky comments or just straight up confusion at seeing Belle with Rumple.

Not again! Can’t these people ever write drama for Rumbelle that doesn’t involve her being pissed with him? I’m sitting here hoping and praying that something else has her upset. Please writers make something like Belle wished Hook would have died and is upset at herself for feeling this way, or the library hasn’t gotten as many people as she would have liked. I dunno just something new please.

Paige isn’t scared of Mr. Gold
AN: This is set sometime before the curse break but after Emma’s arrival I’d say sometime before the Moe incident. I had this idea for awhile that having a father who was a former thief Grace (and by extension Paige) is use to people one would consider evil and is not really scared of them, rather is more afraid they’ll drag her papa into his past employment. So I was thinking of doing more with this but I’m not sure.
She’s heard the rumors from kids. “He’s really mean, I heard he got a kid arrested for just looking to close at the windows.” The warnings from adults. “I think it’s best if you don’t bother him sweety. He doesn’t take kindly to the presence of children.” But she’s not scared she’s determined and there isn’t a story they can tell to make her not enter the shop.

This is a question I’ve been meaning to ask all season. Where the hell are his high laced up the front boots? We haven’t seen them at all. Was this a costume design decision to loose the less practical but much more awesome boots? Or is it that they decided the character just hasn’t found them at this point in time, since everything they’ve shown in FT this season takes place further in the past? Really it’s gotten to the point where I purposely look for the boots in the new eps.
Honestly yes. The I liked him from the first ep but I loved him in The Price of Gold until Skin Deep it was my favorite ep.“I kind of wonder how many people would still like Gold/Rumplestiltskin if Skin Deep (or at least Belle) had never happened. Would you still appreciate the flawed character/villain that he is? Or would he not come up to your standards of tragic romantic love hero? Its just that I remember how many people liked him before 1x12, and how many people liked him after, so I’m just curious.”
